Hello everyone and welcome to the official release of Ak Factions. 

Ak Factions is a ranked-base factions server with many features. We invite all players to join us at akfactions.mc-shock.com with any version from 1.8.8 to 1.12.2. Some of you may know us from our pre-release, but this is going to be our final one since we have most of the server done. Here are some features 


FactionsFly FactionsFly allows you to fly in your faction claim as long as no enemy is within about a 7 block radius. If they are, you will drop to the ground without taking fall damage. If you fly out of your faction claim, you will also drop to the ground and not take fall damage. 


Mines & Ranks Yes, like the prison severs. We combined the idea of prison and factions to make an entirely new fun game mode, ranked-base factions. Ranking up unlocks new permissions along with new dupe-proof player vaults and new kits. We also have mines if you’re bored or don’t like factions, play on here like a prison server. Although making a faction and building will be fun, we will not force you to. Mines are a great option for resources in case you need them. 


PrisonGems Prison Gems is a plugin that gives you gems with a chance while mining. With gems, you can upgrade your items with enchants. Many people do prefer Token Enchant, but Prison Gems allows a lot more customization for the player and us to configure. 
* Non-Op Factions We try our best to keep the vanilla Minecraft world feel while still making a fun environment. For this reason, we don’t have custom enchants. Custom enchants, we once had, in our pre-release, but they were out-of-control overpowered. We removed them and now we have a more stable economy. 


Friendly Staff & Community We ensure that all staff are outwardly nice to all players, or they’re punished. Our staff are always ready to listen to suggestions and fix any bugs you might find on the server. 
We also encourage a friendly community, and now you may be thinking, “This is a Christian server.” No, we do allow cursing and swearing. To a minimum, we don’t want the chat filled with those unfriendly words. 


Non-P2W We strongly disagree with P2W servers. They die too quickly. We keep donating as on option, however never force people to donate. While there may be some donations party (such as dropping a $5 rank once we get a donation), we are NOT money-hungry. Nor are our ranks overly buffed than the regular server ranks. There are ranks in game, as long as premium tiers you can buy, and donating is simply and mostly to support the server.
